My Ethics class turned in their final papers today.
One of the top kids, D., turned in his, titled "The Roles of Ethics in Society and in My Personal Life."
It was beautifully put-together in a clear cover, with a nice cover sheet and punctuated with a great, cropped picture of his face.
I put it on the top of the pile and continued to have a debate with a few of the kids - if he can call himself black, why can't I just call myself white without having to specify which countries my ancestors are from - when D. interrupted:
"Miss - I was totally drunk in that picture."
There you have it, folks. I present to you the future of our country.
