We're working on a Behind the Scenes: The Backyardigans

You'll only understand this if you spend as much time analyzing The Backyardigans as we do:

Jay (while watching Cave Party): So I was thinking, after they invented the party, Tasha invented the Walk of Shame.
Me: That's f*cked up. They're cartoon characters!

And sadly, we have several of these "revelations" about The Backyardigans over the course of a day, many of which are just too wrong to actually write down. I think they need to get the new season of How I Met Your Mother started - and soon.

Too funny! What cracked me up last night was after we watched the one where Tasha's jewels were stolen (for the 100th time)...Rachel was running through the house, acting out the show. And then she proceeded to run down to Daddy-I heard some discussion, and she came upstairs to me (I was on the phone with a friend) and she pronounced in her proudest voice, "Here's Daddy's jewels, Mommy!" as she handed me a pretend package.

My friend and I could NOT stop laughing.
THat show drove me out of my mind for the longest time. It's grown on me!

I think Uniqua is too bossy for her own good. Some episodes she seriously needs to be taken down a peg or two. And Austin? That one is sketchy. =)

Uhh, yeah they are just cartoon characters.

I'm a mama! SleepydoodleLittle Samson Daniel was born on February 24th, 2006. Sammy was born with a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). He underwent his first open heart surgery at 4 days old and his second at 5 months old. He will need another surgery when he's between 2 and 3 years old. His mama and daddy, however, think he's absolutely perfect. You can read all about his birth here, or all about him on his site, baby samson.
