Pass the Prozac, please.

Me: You're going to go to school soon.
Sammy: Schoo?
Me: Yup. And you're going to have teachers and make friends.
Sammy: An pay? (And play)

Clearly, he's been listening as I've been talking up school the past few days. We go in tomorrow for an "ease-into-school" visit. We'll do a couple of these over the next few weeks. I think they're more for me than for him anyway.

The vet better call soon with the rabies results, because between that and thinking about Sammy going to school and me going back to work - well, my anxiety level is all the way up and I swear, if someone even looks at me the wrong way, I might burst into tears.

My thoughts are with you. And that's so awesome he is ready to go to school to play. Aren't they just so cute.

I think Im going to start easing allie into school this week. This is more for me than for her. I'm sure of it.

Evan starts school on Aug. 20th and will be going 2 days a week. That is one week from this Monday and I'm almost sure I won't make it to work that day. Evan will probably love it and not want to leave - me, I'm thinking I'll be sobbing most the day.

I'm a mama! SleepydoodleLittle Samson Daniel was born on February 24th, 2006. Sammy was born with a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). He underwent his first open heart surgery at 4 days old and his second at 5 months old. He will need another surgery when he's between 2 and 3 years old. His mama and daddy, however, think he's absolutely perfect. You can read all about his birth here, or all about him on his site, baby samson.
