I won't grow up!

Sometimes I feel like we're just playing house. Is there ever a point where you go,"Yup, we're adults!" or do you just forever feel like you're still that little kid, just in a big-person's life?

It's weird. I woke up this morning and realized I'm doing all the adult things, yet I never really felt a shift into being an adult. Then again, I still wear pigtails, so that's got to say something!

I still feel like i'm that kid in a big-person's life... definately.

sometimes i feel like i'm 40 already...and other times i feel like that 10 yr old girl again. i wish i felt like the little girl more often actually. maybe i'll wear pigtails today:)

I'm much much older than you, dear - and wearing pigtails always makes me feel young and frisky. One of the reason's it's my hairdo of choice for working out!

i think you definitely never feel "grown up." what freaks me is when i realize that i'm the age now that my parents were when i was my kids age (if you follow me), and then think back to my perceptions of my parents then. yikes.

eeeks! who knows...i think i'll always be a kid too....

For Squeaky and I, the "adult" moment was our first major purchase together...the washer and dryer. I haven't any idea why...it just did.

I'm a mama! SleepydoodleLittle Samson Daniel was born on February 24th, 2006. Sammy was born with a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). He underwent his first open heart surgery at 4 days old and his second at 5 months old. He will need another surgery when he's between 2 and 3 years old. His mama and daddy, however, think he's absolutely perfect. You can read all about his birth here, or all about him on his site, baby samson.
